iNiC - Intelligent Nature Inspired Computing Research

Motivation  

iNiC is a recent research effort is established to improve research findings and solving a real world problem especially in Malaysia.  It is inspired by nature.

• Nature has always been never ending inspiration to solve complex problems. 
• Intelligent capability offered by nature has strategies and amazing ways. 
• Part of artificial intelligence initiative
• The inspiration is from the natural phenomena of nature. 
• Nature inspired principles were research few decades ago. 
• Robustness of natural phenomena is a basis to adapt the uncertain and complex environment. 
• Features of the algorithm have been imitated from nature.

• Flying to find food or best food
• Survival for fittest
• Pheromone as key to find the shortest path

Aim

 iNiC aims to leverage the employment of nature inspired computing solution to benefit industries, organizations and human in accordance to the need of Industry 4.0.

Objective

The main objective of the iNiC research group is to provide computational solutions to solve real world problems with the creation new and enhancement of computational models and algorithms mainly inspiring from nature for industries, organizations and people.

The computed solution is inspired from the behavior of animals, humans, physically based, chemical based, biologically based and all relevant behavior of nature.
